Falcons in action

Bunco the Lanner Falcon demonstrates the art of spot-landing on vertical surfaces. Falcons are not great at grappling or biting, and rely on their unique flying capabilities to attack prey (by impact!), and to defend themselves by either sheltering on vertical surfaces or using speed to escape. They are therefore the masters of spot-landing on the face of cliffs. We love to share this amazing capability with the public through our interactive falconry experiences at the beautiful cliffs of La Jolla, California. Add us to your bucket list and experience in person our speed demons in action, or maybe lounging on the cliffs!
